MEET OUR CONSULTANTS:

HALEY HECKETHORN

Haley Heckethorn is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated as a dance major from Las Vegas Academy in 2013. She then continued her professional training in Vancouver, BC at Arts Umbrella under the direction of Artemis Gordon. During this time she participated in the Young Choreographers program mentored by Crystal Pite and toured internationally performing works by Crystal Pite, Sharon Eyal, Cayetano Soto, Lesley Telford and Fernando Hernando Magadan. In 2015, she was awarded the Emerging Artist scholarship from the RBC Canada Council. Haley has attended workshops such as Netherlands Dans Theater, Batsheva’s Gaga Workshop, Springboard Danse Montreal, San Francisco Conservatory and The Banff Centre for the Arts. She joined Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot as an apprentice from 2016 to 2018. Haley has performed with Peter Chu’s Chuthis, participated in HSPro with Alexandra Wells and has been a guest artist with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She danced for BODYTRAFFIC from 2018 to 2020 touring internationally to perform repertoire by Hofesh Shechter, Richard Siegal, Barak Marshall and Sidra Bell. As a member of BODYTRAFFIC, Haley was named a cultural ambassador for the arts by the United States of America to teach dance and perform in Algiers, Algeria.

ALEXA HUEY

Alexa Huey is a San Diego native and has been trained in various styles of dance from the age of five years old. Alexa’s passion for dance blossomed when she was a student at Danceology. She competed as a member of Danceology’s Performance Company under the direction of Nicole Lucia, where she won numerous scholarships from various competitions and conventions. In 2011 Alexa was nominated by her teachers and voted by her peers as Danceology’s “Dancer of the Year.” In addition to competing with Danceology, Alexa was a member of Mt. Carmel High School’s Dance Troupe (MCDT), where she was a four year member and named Captain during her senior year. After high school, Alexa set her sights on a career in dance and continued her education and training at the University of Arizona on a four year scholarship. The University of Arizona is home to one of the top dance programs in the nation; there, she graduated Cum Laude with a B.F.A in Dance and a Minor in Business Administration in 2015. After graduation, Alexa started her professional dance career as a dancer with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where she traveled to seven countries around Asia aboard the Mariner of the Seas. Alexa had the opportunity to train closely under Dana Foglia in Los Angeles in Dana’s professional training program.

KC CONSTANTINO-HELLENKAMP

KC Constantino-Hellenkamp is originally from New Jersey. In her early career she danced professionally in both NYC, New Jersey and Europe. KC danced in many theater productions as well as industrials and music videos. In her early 20s KC moved to California where she danced in industrials, TV and music videos in Los Angeles. She then transitioned into teaching and mentoring students in a larger capacity. She taught and choreographed at an elite level competitive dance academy in Southern California for 22 years. She also has coached at Cathedral Catholic High School from 2019-present. KC’s students have gone on to have professional careers on both stage and screen, attending top university dance programs and top tier university dance teams.

MORGAN KAMINS

Morgan Kamins grew up in the Chicagoland area and began dancing at the age of 3. She trained in all styles of dance and had the opportunity to work with many well-respected choreographers and instructors across the country. Morgan is a former award-winning competition dancer. After spending her childhood attending events such as The Dance Awards, LADM, WCDE, Hall of Fame, etc; she went on to be a 4 year member and captain of the Ohio State University Dance Team. In 2018, she helped lead them to Ohio State’s first National Championships in school history at UDA College Nationals.
